Hello, my name is Robbi Fischer and I've worked with hundreds of students to improve their math skills, increase their interest in math, and help them gain the confidence needed for success.
I have a Master's+ degree from Webster University in math education and over 30 years teaching experience. Now I'm doing what I really love... teaching to students one-on-one and in small groups! I enjoy assessing the individual skills of my students, using their skills as a foundation to customize a learning plan, and watching them grow in knowledge and confidence!
I started by teaching basic and college-prep high school math courses. Throughout my career I took on additional responsibilities such as math club sponsor, math department chair, middle school and high school instructional coach, and teaching for the local college. I was honored to receive several awards such as the Distinguished Teacher Award (2023), Teacher of the Year award at Northwest High School, and Missouri Council of Teachers of Mathematics Outstanding Educator Award. In addition, I have served on state and national committees for the MO Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Today, I'm retired from classroom teaching and on top of the world as a tutor! I use all the skills and insight I've gained from my education and experience to help students achieve academic success. It's so exciting to hear their success stories!
Let me help you gain a better understanding of math today!
